Off to the city

Well I took Caltrain up to the city and the hopped on BART to get to Union Square. It was totally fun.

I met my friend Candice and we rocked the world.

Had an iphone moment where we couldn't find some food and we yelped it. Apparently the iphone is pretty popular up here but the tourists where eying it like.. OMG thats the *gasp* iphone. After finding my way to The Apple store, Virgin Megastore, and Borders. We went to a bar called Gold Dust for irish coffee and some pre dinner drinks.

Found food. some Thai place that was open at 11 at night

Hopped on a bus over to Candice's met a roommate Josh and went to Buckshot.

Nice place clean.. good drinks.. the bar tender ROCKED. well She was all over the place and kept it all in sync.

Eventually we hit last call and headed back to the place.

Met the other 2 roomies. Didn't know it but I know one of them in a past life.

Jesse, Jeremy, Josh and Candice what a weird name combination. Sounds like a four -some

well they all rocked it crashed around 5.

OOPS! - Elbo Room

Well We ended up in the city and was looking for a place to eat. Technology failed use and had to send the Simone to repair it, hence the "butt" pics.

After we drove around a few places we found California Pizza Kitchen. Then we ended up off to the Elbo Room. Literally barely elbo room. We ended up getting a sweet table and people started making out and kept bugging Kim so we where ready to shoot them and end up giving the table to a cool group after we where tired.

Maru Ichi Ramen Shop

HURRAY I found a nice ramen shop. It's practically down the street from me in Mountain View.

The Food was awesome. Not sure if it was as good as Tenkaipin or Yottekoya in Honolulu but its better then nothing.

Shopping at Santana Row

There is a strip mall type setting where lot of high end shops are strung out along in Santa Clara, called Santana Row. It was like walking down Ala Moana Shopping center again but in california and freezing. well cold for me apparently not very cold for the people their getting drunk and the numberious bars and eateries.

H&M was the highlight and the biggest let down of the night. Apparently the store in Santana Row is women only :( so what do us men gotta do.. we get to walk around the entire street and find nothing but a nice tirimisu and some hot chai.

VMware Fusion

Gosh I've had a few software orgasms lately thanks to VMware Fusion.

Merging windows applications on a mac is a serious problem and they seem to have found a good solution.

how often can you see ie floating on your desktop :P

Or for that matter how about the problems Mac has with all the various video formats?

Through this you can watch all your favorite internet movies on your mac desktop in full screen or not

Mac OS X + VMware Fusion + Windows XP + WOW Ace Updater + Curse Updater = Automated Love

Well today I finally proved that you can do something pretty crazy.

I recently bought my mac, and installed my addons for wow on the mac client.

everything works fine until you need to update them all.

I found that you can use Curse updater and WOW Ace Updater on the mac

through VMware fusion :)

you build your windows xp enviroment and you share your wow application folder and walla you can use the windows updaters to make your mac installation updated.

Night out at New Age City

Sorry but the iPhone isn't the best camera for the clubs. This was a night out a New Age City in San Francisco. The music was pretty good crazy modern rock, I felt kinda young since i barely knew any of the song.

But I must say the food was great, when we left New Age to go to Sparky's just off the castro on church and market. it was crazy everyone was there and the guys that we met at NAC thought about the same place too since we got some waves from them.
